As for the misogyny, it's more about how they keep enforcing traditional gender roles, and men protecting women and women only looking for happiness and lacking ambition of their own. There were several sexist comments about "girly things" and all that.

To be fair, this stuff is all common in anime, but it's still transphobic and misogynistic

So if a male trans (wanting to be female) character was in a show and they made a joke about that character being weird for wearing male clothes, would that be completely fine?
It's always okay for all LGBTQ to do whatever they want, but god forbid a birth-gender path show does what they want to do...
